We were inspired by the work that Pinsent Masons had done in asking the associates in one of their teams to provide further details under each of the four sections of the Mindful Business Charter that they would find most helpful in managing their wellbeing.

Adopting a similar approach, the Line Managers’ Wellbeing Commitment is designed to sit alongside the Mindful Business Charter and to help us to take a meaningful step towards having a more consistent experience of being line managed and in creating an open, supportive and inclusive culture around wellbeing and mental health. We wanted to focus on deepening the accountability of our line managers on the areas highlighted in the Mindful Business Charter, setting out those behaviours and practices that our teams had told us would have the most impact.
